My daughter is a PA. She is about to be laid off from her job of managing a small rural clinic for a large Hospital. I'm not quite sure I understand the thinking behind this decision, but it's not mine to make. On one hand I am glad for her to be out of harms way. Or at least a little distanced from it. On the other hand, it seems to me we need all the medical staff we can get right now. My wife and I are lucky in that we can financially support her through these times if need be.
