If you have a big impact wrench it is the ticket to loosen the disk nut. I use mine on them with no problems of coming loose. Even used it on the Sunflower with the 1 1/2 round shaft. Had my sister hit the back end with the sledge as I held the impact on it. They have those belville washers on them.
