That is not really so. We have 6 in the day rent fleet and the rental is about 80% contractors or professional landscapers who just need that extra machine for a day or special job. Home owner rental we accept but you have to have a trailer good enough to move the machine or we charge $65.00 each way in the county. For a dealer day rental is better than weekly or monthly, more money for less hours on the machine. We leave the machines in the rental fleet until they get 1200 hrs then sell them and always have a waiting list for the rental machines as they have a discounted price. Rental rates vary all over the country depending on demand but usually somewhere around $350.00 a day for 90hp track machines with a charge for anything over 8 hr in the day.
