I have windows 10 and internet explorer quit about a year ago. I use google chrome for browser. I followed your directions, clicked (ah yes, they are there , I was on tablet at the time and knew it had the dots but thought my desktop did not). I pulled up a web site, hit the dots, went to more tools, didn't show internet explorer but did show add short cut, AND IT WORKED.
Thank you. I had been all over the web asking how to add short cuts as I used to just add them no problem on windows 7. Lot of different ways I guess.
