The complication with cheaper and older machines is so few people have the means to move them. I just happen to be friends with a contractor that knew a guy who owned a dump truck and loboy trailer that would move it for me but it still cost $400. The machine weighs 13k lbs and that s simply beyond the ability of most people who don t use the machine commercially. If transportation was easier I would bet the machines would fetch much more than 5k because demand would be higher. I don t move it beyond what I my fathers house because that s the only thing in driving distance for the backhoe. Even so I only use second gear, high gears are terrifying with how the steering is.
