If it has a small bolt looking thing on the heater that is close to the center. Loosen it up some then you sould be able to pull pry it out some. That bolt will have a bar that goes across the hole to hold it in. The bar will have to be manipulated so the heater will come out. If it has no bolt it may have a bolt with an expansion type of holding method similar to those soft plugs that expand as they are tightened to seal. Loosen and pry pullout. Other choice is it screws in.
