I hear so many negative comments about Dodge trucks. I have a 1990 4X4 Dodge W150 that I bought new in Milwaukee. It has been an AZ truck since 91. It is pushing 3000,000 miles and is still running great although the oil pressure is on the low end of normal. The only thing I have done to the engine is replace the water pump. All other externals are original. I have had the tranny rebuilt but have not had to do anything to the transfer case. It had on the fly 4WD but put Warn hubs on it because of a vacuum leak. I have never been left stranded with a break down. My other Dodge PU is a 2001 2WD 1500. It has 161.000 miles on it with "0" mechanical issues other than brakes . In my personal opinion they are great trucks, at least the ones I have.
