If you could get the old T lock shingles I would do it. We put dads roof on in December back in the 80's. Put them in by the wood stove on the floor to warm up so they wouldn't crack when nailed. One would nail the other would carry them up in arm loads. If I was caught up I would slip them in place to be nailed as quickly as possible. I would not waste my time with 3in1's just blow off. Steel screwed on the rib tops and done right does not leak.
