Just thinking back to the days when our only way to get to town was the old Mercury car. No 4wd pickup with traction control and ABS. Just grip tires on the back, frost shields on the windows and a shovel in the trunk. I don't recall my dad ever having to pull the old Merc out of a snowbank but maybe my memory is failing. Back then you either learned how to drive in snow or you got stuck. (Or stayed home all winter). No, this video is not about winter driving. Just me finally getting to work replacing that rusty front fender on the Merc.
