> The anti-California bias is disappointing. Cal. has a high percentage of the population and a very high percentage of the USA tax base. It might be of value for those that love to bash California, to go spend a bit of time there. But finding honest, hard working, patriotic Americans in California might have an impact on their preconceived Midwest notions. But I would not want anyone to get out of their comfort zone.
Exactly. There's a lot of pre-conceived notions about CA that a visit there would quickly dispel. But most folks don't like to experience cognitive dissonance.
