Recently a SIL was working on a gas 706 Farmall. He'd finished some work on it and decided to put some gas in it before he ran it. Couldn't get it to start. He did the fuel flow test and had great flow. He called and ask me to look at it. Great spark. Distributor is a reman about 6 months old. I pulled the plug on the bottom of the carb. Right away I noticed that the gas was cloudy. Drained the gas and got gas from a different place and it started right up. SIL had gone to the closest place for gas even though he knows the place has a poor reputation.
