I too was in the Navy and was stationed on the east coast. I was in Groton CT and Charleston NC and Norfolk VA. While I would not want to be in any of those places now it was not all that bad when i was there. But that was also almost 40 years ago. Shoot when i moved to where I am now I had a hard time getting us to the sounds of being in the middle of no where. Nearest neighbor by road is a mile and by foot a 1/4 mile up a mountain. And that nearest neighbor is my 95 year old mother. I own firearms that where you are would not be legal but are here in MO and bullets you cannot have either
