Thanks Jon (and others), this afternoon I brought the multimeter inside for about 3 hours to fully warm up. I then bought a new battry for the tractor and ran it for about 20 - 30 minutes. After this I am recording exactly 15.2 volts with the tractor running. I have the #2 wire connected to the batt lug on the alternator. Is it safe to leave it like this or will my battery boil? Wendel
