Don't forget you are not just adding anti freeze, you're also adding corrosion inhibitors too. Your radiator will be the first thing to go. My company uses 50/50 in thermosyphon type heaters in New England all the time, no problem. Somebody did make a mistake one time and started up a new boiler/heat exchanger system in December with straight polyproplene glycol - that stuff is real thick in the winter - the circulating pump couldn't push it through the boiler tubes fast enough - cracked a steel tube and caused a fire.
