I have bought an 800 with live PTO. It appears to be in rather good condition for its age except it can't propel its self. When you release the clutch the tractor moves maybe 2 inches and stops. If you use the loader to help it move a little it then will start moving on its own, but slowly. My diagnosis is the clutch is shot and will need replaced. I have tons of experiences in clutch rebuilding on trucks and cars,but never a tractor. My first question is before I assume that I now anything, is there any way that something is stuck or out of adjustment? Before I start splitting this gal into two I want to make sure I am on the correct track. So, if you know this tractor and know about it's clutch I sure could use some advice.
