I can sort of remember when my uncle bought this one year old 730 Case diesel. It was the tractor I learned to drive and work summerfallow with in the summer of 1970 when he was too sick to work it. It took a beating from this learner but survived. I take it out every now and then for a little exercise and to hear the familiar sound of that old smooth Case diesel engine. Its a beast to steer with manual steering and dozer frame on it but then you don't want to turn real sharp with the pto shaft running on the rotary mower. I recorded some video of the startup and cutting some thistles out in the pasture. Too damp to harvest still but at least I'm getting in some tractor time.
