Inversion tables work -- they dont need to be fancy infact the ones that use cloth for a back rest are the best . The fancy ones with the molded plastic back rests dont do any thing more for you and in the end are much heavier for moving around. Dont over do it at the start - work up to the increasing angles gradually ESPECIALLY if you are a heavy weight . Best to use the table just before bead time as the spine will remain stretched out for the night and will relive the pinched nerves better. This machine will do every thing for you that an expensive clinic visit with a traction table PLUS it is much cheaper and available at home when you need it rather than a long drive in a car when in agony . Anti inflammatory drugs work as well as opiod (sp) drugs -- not that you need permission from these bunch of cowboys but this is some thing that you need to talk to your Dr about . Opiods are addictive -- some people are more prone than others. Back pain can get to the point where it is intolerable --- what kind of life is that . Follow you Dr orders for pills and quanity / time
