No, the bundle feeder guy isn't nuts and neither is he reaching through the belt or over it. Actually he isn't even close to it. One of those camera angle deals. He is probably 5-6 foot away from the belt. What he is doing is feeding the machine table as it was designed to be fed. Same as most every other husker shredder I have ever seen. the bundles are fed over the belt with the hand feeder guy on the opposite side. If you want to play safety nark how about the guy hand feeding it? He could stick his hands in several sets of belts and gears should he desire or stick his foot in the husking bed. It's no different than any other machine that is 100 yeats old people with no sence or awareness should stay 50 foot away.
