Sounds like fun but be careful. When we were kids in the city in the 50's (before the salt/sand brigade ruined the roads for what we did) we used to "bumper ride" on city busses, sometimes for blocks. Just grab the back bumper and make sure your winter boots didn't have too many grips and away you went. Some kids wore moccasins in those days with heavy leather soles and those were the best. I don't think the moms and dads were too thrilled with the games their kids were playing.
