Our processor is Acela CBD, based in Maysville, Ky., which is who I bought my last few bottles. As they are a new company start up, they have just started actual processing. Before that I bought from Bluegrass Hemp Oil -BHO- based in Lexington, KY. Both companies have websites, but I believe you can only order on line from BHO. Acela CBD is selling in all the local stores, and also at their plant. I use the extra strength because I tried the regular strength which did not help as much.
As far as why the hemp oil helped more, I can not say. I do know that you should read the label for amount of CBD in milligrams(mg). BHO has a 4oz bottle with 2950mg, and Acela CBD has 2oz bottle with 3000mg. Both companies have lower dose bottles, but the higher dose is what I use. I think when the FDA gets involved, the labels will be more consistent across the board. I was told that having THC helps the CBD to work better in your brain's pain receptors.
My friend, former boss, started taking it, and the change/improvement was very noticeable. His results convinced me to try it, AND IT WORKS. I can sleep most of the night, before aches and pains wake me. My left hand can grip things without aching, my legs and feet quit hurting after a days work. My back still hurts, but I lower discs that keep slipping and popping, so as long as I watch what and how I lift and move, it is fair to ok. BUT THE CBD HELPS THIS ALSO. At bedtime, I take my final dose of CBD, and 2 Aleve. By themselves, neither helps enough to sleep, but combined they help a lot. Mark.
