Anyone besides me ever been around "Kansas Killer Weed". I guess hemp was grown around the Ft Riley KS area during WWII. And of course some of it pollinated and went to seed. According the the dope heads it was harsh to smoke and had a very low THC content. But it was growing everywhere in the training area of Ft Riley and surrounding area public lands in 74/75/76. Stuff would grow 8-10 feet. Our officers were not amused at all when we were told to to use local vegetation to camouflage our tanks...........you see where this is going? Nope not amused at all by the moving mound that looked suspiciously like marijuana........:lol: They must of killed most of it off. My last hitch there in the the 90's did see any.
