O K Here is a 76 year old man,s advice. A 60+ year old dozer has the potential to become a fishing weight quick. Here is how it goes, $ 4500.00 I can afford that, get it home find going to take another $600 to fix a few little thing , no problem, then say the water pump goes out , o just another $ 300.00 . Two or three more leaks and first thing you know you now have $6500.00 in the tractor, then a final drive goes out. Are you going to spend another three grand or just junk it. Have seen this to many times. Either wait till you can find something newer , even if you have to spend more or forget it. I saw a nice power shift, td 7e dresser (ih) sell at auction last week for $6750.00 with a six way blade and direct start.
