The three events that you don’t forget are the JFK assassination (was in 6th grade; a girl who went to lunch at home nearby came back and told the teacher/principal and we all got sent home); the Challenger explosion (was at a Trade Show at Alpine Valley, WI. The entire group migrated to the bar to watch TV. The show was a bust after that); and the 9/11 (The whole office and shop stopped work for a while to watch on TV in our conference room. There were volunteer fireman among us who commented on how difficult a fire that would be. Then the towers collapsed).
