Hello! My name is Ann Zeeck, and I am with the Public Information Office of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). I was doing an internet search on a piece of antique equipment we recently acquired - an Adams Leaning Wheel grader. Perhaps someone here may have information on this or a similar grader. TxDOT would be most grateful if we could speak with someone regarding the background of this item. We are not interested in selling the article; rather, we are trying to determine the exact age of our grader. The only information we have is: Serial #2027, Adams Leaning Wheel grader No. 1C. Adams & Co, Indianapolis, Indiana (Has been modified to be tractor drawn.) We are also interested in determining the original color of the grader. Any other information you might be able to share with us, including other resources of information on this item, would be most appreciated. Contact information is listed below. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Ann Zeeck, Community Relations Officer TxDOT Public Information Office Tel: (512) 463-5308 Fax:(512) 463-9896 [email protected]
