I thought I sent a note that I was restoring my Dads 1927 15-30 Deering McCormick tractor. This tractor is not original because it has the Robin carburetor, intake and exhaust system. It s also on rubber. When my dad purchased this tractor back around 1959 the tractor had diamond tread turf tires both front and back. On the hood stenciled are the following words. US Dept Of Agriculture, Bureau Of Entomology, Corn Borer Control. I have read in this form that the government purchased 444 of these tractors to pull a corn shredder to control the European Corn Borer in the late 30 s or so. Just wondering if this tractor is considered rare and if anyone s else knows of someone who does ???

Once started it putted along pretty good. It
