Ailing 9N

I have a Ford 9N tractor. I need help. When I start to use it, it dies out at full throttle and occasionally backfires. It has gotten so bad that the tractor won't even run above an idle. It would not get me up a hill without stalling and cutting off and backfiring. I have done just about everything I know. Does anyone have any ideas. Please email any help. Thank you.
