I have owed tractors like you described, ya they can still do the job, but ..... they will all come with a boat load of problems. Most of the folks that bought a large tractor, had a large amount of work for it to, and you will find that most of these tractors are beat. And once over 20 years old, getting parts can get to be a challenge. You can easy spend more into repairs on a power shift transmission than the tractor is worth, just as an example. As I said, I have had them, and don�t dream about having anymore.
