Putting out the last load of manure before night chores, and everything went sideways all of a sudden.. Wham !! Wham !! Wham!! The pto shaft has separated, and the half still attached to the tractor is beating its self against the draw bar! What the heck??!!
The pin that holds the draw bar onto the underside of the tractor has dropped out, letting the draw bar slid back enough for the pto shaft to separate. But with all the weight now on the rear on the manure spreader, there is still enough friction binding on the draw bar against the yoke, to continue pulling the spreadet th
Naturally the pin that has gone missing creating all of this trouble is now somewhere underneath the sh!t behind the spreader. A quick search only made my feet dirty. This whole farming thing is never as easy to actually do as it appears to be going by on the road.
