I wouldn't recommend running fluid directly against a steel rim or it will corrode in the worst way. Since you have already had fluid in your tires, your rim condition might limit what you can tolerate on the tire type. If you have some rusty spots, you might be stuck using a tube as long as you use that rim. If you have good smooth rims, tubeless tires will work ok but I am not all that sure they are any better or last longer. The biggest difference I see is what it takes to fix a flat. Also I believe it would depend on what you plan to do with your tractor. If it is a show tractor it won't be roughed up like one you are going to be driving over plowed ground and on hils or over stumps etc. Hope this helps you .
