I rarely go to Lowe�s. I go to Home Depot for most things. But if I have a big project, I go to Menards. The prices are simply better. The lumber selection is better, imho, because of the volume they sell, the same pile isn�t picked over like it is at Home Depot. I�ve priced out jobs between HD and Menards, and Menards was always cheaper. In this area, the only source for many ground contact treated wood is Menards. I bought a 6x6 post and some treated skirt boards for a pole structure. The local HD didn�t have any 6x6 ground contact stuff at all, some 4x6, but not much. I�d go to Menards more, but it is 30 miles away.
