We've had many fatalities on I 70 caused by road construction slowing traffic. When traffic backs up and a semi drivers don't slow there is going to be a major crash. In three different accidents it involved drivers from Canada. Last crash the semi driver died. One crash the semi driver killed kids and court gave him a slap on the hand for distracted driving, $500 fine.
So much for courts solving the problem.
I drive 70, I watch for crazy drivers changing lanes, speeding, and tail gating.
Then a semi driver gets in the left lane, takes miles to pass,and backs up traffic. I back off a 1/4 mile and wait for a major Daytona race crash.
