I have had the same problem before. Last time around, it was a clogged strainer in the fuel tank. The tractor would run fine for a few hours, then gradually 'outrun' it's fuel supply and die. Shutting down long enough to bleed the system allowed junk to drift away from the strainer and the the restricted fuel line would refill the filters. It would run fine again until enough junk would clog the strainer again. Frustration. This situation got progressively worse until my run interval got so short that I finally took everything apart and traced the fuel delivery problem back to it's source, I then drained and cleaned the tank and filter. It hasn't missed a lick since then. Another time I had this problem it was due to a plugged filter.. same net effect.. engine would run awhile then finally die of fuel starvation. So I'd look for clogged filters, restricted lines, restricted tank strainer, bad fuel pump.
