I have a Massey Ferguson 253, 1996 ,that has 1000 hours. About one year ago the tractor began to stop half way through a days work . I would bleed fuel system and start all over again. I have checked all of the fittings, tightened them and rechecked the fuel filter gasket alignment. The only part that I am suspicious of is the plastic MICKEY MOUSE hose outfit that leads out of the fuel tank to the fuel pump. I can't get the hose out of the fitting on the fuel tank end to change the gasket. Has anybody encountered the same problem and how did you solve it?
