I too would like to know why you think your pump is weak. Have you pressure checked it's output and how many PSI was it is delivering??? How are the seals down in the steering sector and have you checked them with a hand pump to see if they leak. There is a VERY GOOD chance that your only problem is slipping fan belts, caused by having the wrong ones on or the pump pulley being warn.
This is my 931 which has well over 10K. As long as I have good fan and PS belts on it, it steers as good as new. If the front of the tractor is weighted you have to be moving or the belts will squack and slip. Loren
