I saw a crew use a hydraulic power unit on a cart like that once. they were putting electric cable under a concrete driveway. There was a framework that went into the hole on one side of the drive that had a hydraulic cylinder on it. it was hooked to a hydraulic power unit that looked a lot like that one, but said STANLEY on the side. It pushed a ram with a ball shaped head into the soil under the drive. When the cylinder ran out of stroke, they added another section and pushed again. eventually it came out in the hole on the other side of the drive. There was a loop at the front of the ball, they hooked their underground wire to it and pulled it back through the hole.
