Granddad's first tractor was a B with a belly mount mower. Later, he traded for a 9N. He was a born Ford man. Need to get that out front. You can put a 3 pt on a B but it still won't have draft control, which you may want if you're going to plow at all. The wheel width on a N can be fairly easily changed. The B can't. The N always seemed a little more stable and closer to the ground. I'd put the engine on B ahead of the N for guts and ease of access. The N could be a little hard to start when it's cold out. As an all round utility package it's hard to beat an N. The B was okay but we never did wish we could trade back. They are both good tractors.
