Eric, given your requirements, you seem to need a tractor in the 30 - 35 hp range (minimum power needs), utility type (especially helpful when cutting grass and poking around in the woods), 3 pt. hitch (or conversion), PTO, power steering (for loader) and decent hydraulics (to run loader and log splitter). To get all of this, you are probably looking for a tractor that is around 1960 vintage or newer. A few of the 60's types that come to mind are the IH 350, 340, MF 135, JD 1010 and 1020.
