Glad to help. WIth luck, it'll just be the spring that's come loose/broken and jammed up in there somehow (wasn't that Big Fred's first thought?!). For governor work the I&T manual pretty much duplicates the drawings and instructions for repair and adjustment of the governor that are in the old IH Service manual for the A and B. IF you only get one, either would do just fine. One tip as you go into it . . . Don't let the governor gear (you'll see it behind the weights) pop out of place on you. If you don't have totake it out, leave it right where it is. When you first take the cover off, go slowly to make sure things stay generally in place. IF you can use a marker of some sort to mark the position of the governor gear relative to the cam gear it mates to or the block. It can play the very devil with your valve timing if it isn't in right. Just go slowly and carefully and you should do fine. LEt us know how you're making out.

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
