Had the air cleaner disconnected from the carb to check if the problem might be restricted air but did'nt make any differance. When the valves were replaced, the valve guides were also replaced. However, there is a suspicion that there might be something in that area that I need to recheck. Thanks for all the tips but keep them coming. I haven't found the answer just yet.
