Listen to those who know the most about your tractor, the guys who wrote its owners manual. Everyone tries to justify their personal position and what they use, it's human nature. A friend who years ago was a H. Ferguson dealer/mechanic, told me the reason for the fluids specified was to obtain maximum life and performance from the tractors. I've got set ideas and methods for my tractor maintainence and have posted them frequently. You must decide your tractors fate based upon your disires. Best wishes!
