Nothing is so useless as a tractor that's too WIDE TO get into places where they are needed. You can get a small tractor that will go through a 4' gate, has less than 25 horsepower and will lift over a thousand pounds at the loader OR you can get one that will lift more, handle bigger implements AND go faster but will not help on the wrong side of the fence but will give more 'bragging rights' at the coffee shop. It's your choice.
