Skid loader is like an extension of your hand for dirt work, the tractor and loader is. Bit more cumbersome and slow to use but the tractor is far far more versatile to use for many things, so the tractor and loader should serve you well unless you are still doing lots of landscape stuff.
The only regret I hear is on having too small a loader and tractor, think you are aiming pretty small there.
