We quit milking the end of March after over 60 years milking here and I don�t miss it. Yes we had quota but prices dropped under a system where they generally don�t drop unless input costs dramatically decrease. No one was interested in helping I was running flat out 7 days a week taking robot alarms at night on top of it for less and less money to cover bills and no hope of things getting better. The only ones missing our cows are the vet clinic and feed company ,possibly farm credit as well because we had a big mortgage and we always kept it current.
