I still have the original battery in my 18 year old Kubota M6800. I have no idea where it was made. It says "Kubota" on the side of it. When I need to replace it I'm going straight to Kubota. I do have a battery disconnect switch. The mechanical lever type from Fram I believe. If the tractor sits more than just overnight it gets disconnected. That tractor does all of my snowplowing in winter and a most of my utility work. More work than my other two tractors put together. In winter, I plug in the block heater and hook up a Starter charger to let the battery charge while the engine is warming. Then I put the charger on start mode and turn the key. It starts as if it were summer. I've never wasted a dime on a trickle charger and I never will. I wouldn't waste a dime on a Wally World Never Start battery either although I've been a Walmart stockholder for almost 40 years.
