Why did I do That

Twisted a manifold stud off flush with the side of head on a wd. No big deal, drilled a hole iin center or stud, applied some heat, inserted easy out, tapped, turned, and oh ####, easy out twisted off inside of hole.Please help,don't know what to do next. Drill just shines up end of easy out tap now. My boys tractor, he is at school and won"t be happy with Pa when he gets home. Help
