Jerry B, couldn't help but hear ya mention the ole JD R. What kind of price did this thing have on it? Where's it at? What kind of condition? If these things are going dirt cheap, that's just music to my ears. I've been wanting an R for years and could never scrounge up the cash to buy one. If you know where I could find one cheap I'd sure appreciate it. As for the attack things, I think we all share a common bond. We're tractor guys. We can't deny it. Oil, grease, and gasoline run in our veins. But, like the age old chevy vs. ford debate, there's always going to be a JD vs. Farmall one that's just as strong. As for me, I've used 'em both. They both get the job done, they both cost an arm and a leg to fix, and they both break down right in the middle of harvest season. But I love 'em with all my heart.
