Right David. My mom would have my dad dump part of a wagon load of chopped hay at the edge of the garden and me my sister and mom would pile the mulch on. Now watching these videos it should have been green chop and TONS of it. In early spring I would try rototilling it under and really build up your soil. The Incas used to make farm plots of super soil. Even hundreds of years later it is STILL super rich. Here is a guy makeing his own super soil with everything but the kitchen sink.
