I have a ih 1486 with a open hydraulic system. While doing some troubleshooting on some low pressure, I pulled the mcv pump and notice the gear on pump had been hitting the mcv. Then looking inside it looks like it has been hitting the housing alot. Checked the flywheel and see that there is some slack in the shaft causing movement. Is this something to be concerned about? Guessing it would take alot to address this. Or is this one of those let it ride situations?
