Have you looked at the FIAT parts site, they show a Laycock clutch for your David Brown, and a parts breakdown, if that will help. Look under "powertrain".

I have a 1494, and it seems to me the 1294 is covered, and the Layock clutch is mentioned. I will try to remember to look when I get to the shop later tomorrow or Monday.
