New gasket stock is usually available in rolls up to four feet long. Many new vehicles use straight rvt silicone, for oil pans,other seals, red is great,, if put on correctly and let cure before adding oil and running should last quite well. Even with gaskets some rvt in the corners helps seal things up. John in Ne.
